This will bring you much rejoicing and humorousness

This is a guy that Em went with to Africa back in the day. He's an interesting fellow. His list of accomplishments include smuggling marijuana and a large knife through airport security while traveling back from the same Africa trip.

Enjoy.

Posted entire thesis on xanga.

So, my thesis is done. I finished more than 12 hours before the due date and printed it off 5 times...(you know that cost me over 30$ of my print balance??). Anyways, I took the liberty in creating possibly the largest post in the history of xanga, check it out. http://www.xanga.com/andrewlk

New kicks

Steve's new hip retro running silhouette style shoe.

A few of you may be aware that i recently purchased a pair of new shoes. I was aided in my selection process by Kenan Miller. These shoes were made by the Pony shoe company which was started in "1972 and quickly became one of the athletic brands of influence in the world. Pony always had the distinctive position of a great logo, unique styling and edgy reputation." (Pony International press release, 2005) I appreciate the way the my new Pony Mexico '77 shoes further the unique styling and edgy reputation I am trying personify.

However, I did find this tag which came along with the shoes to be slightly humorous. I have quoted directly from the tag and highlighted what I have found amusing, "Launched in 1972, All-American in it's attitude and a rebel in a world of established brands, pony became the brand of choice for athletes with the true spirit of individuality."

Who might be asking yourself who are these all-american rebels with the true spirit of individuality? For the answer I turned to another official Pony news release.
"Santa Barbara, CA, October 17, 2005 – Pony International, the world’s leading modern fashion
performance brand, today announced that Los Angeles Lakers’ Center Chris Mihm has signed
with PONY to endorse the brand for the re-launch of its performance basketball line later this fall.
Mihm will wear PONY on the court and joins Boston Celtics’ standout Ricky Davis as part of the
growing family of PONY endorsers for the upcoming 2005-06 NBA season."
