There comes a time in every man's life when he must ask David Helmuth a question. "What advice can you bestow upon me about long distance relationships and making them work?"
Some men follow their "liked" ones where they venture, others deliberately destine themselves in the opposite direction. Where bears that line in the sand where one must say "she is in Bolivia, that is close enough, twer she be in Chile, there I say nay, tis the season to be jolly and that is too far." I revel with loss of speech at such dastardly ideas as that of those parching months apart, yet I have viewed with mine own eyes that the payoff can be so rewarding that the ideal committed relationship we all long for ceases to tease us arrogantly. For succeeding in this challenge I congratulate you David N Helmuth, your reward though comes as a second challenge: Can you find it in your heart, balding and unimpressionable, to tell me how you smitted latitude and longitude for so many months.
On another note, I'm in Denver, Nathan's going into the Hospital on Monday I think, Steve there is something amazing about being in a place where nobody knows your name and the chances of you meeting anyone again are so small that things that fear most mild mannered men do not fear those of us who would normally shy from pitabread. I think someday you will live in a place like this and you will like it. I hope to too.
David, what'd ya say?
Andy, you to have been doing the Long Distance Thing (LDT) what advice can you give?
